About Me

This blog is my new life’s story.  It is not about the past, but rather about the place I am going, a place I don’t even know exists.

Whether it was hitting 40, growing weary of corporate America, or just simply maturing, my whole being has changed drastically.  No longer am I in pursuit of completing another sale, being “blessed” with a bigger raise, or the promise of finally gaining admittance into the boy’s club.  Rather, I am in pursit of me, but the irony is that I don’t know who “me” is!  For so many years, I have been a wife, a mother, an employee, a friend, a daughter, and the list goes on.  Don’t get me wrong, I love those roles but somewhere along the line, I forgot who I was.  It is time to change that fact.

So now, I am on a quest to figure out just what makes me tick and just what brings a pitter-patter to my heart.  Is it writing?  Is it design?  Is it mentoring?  Is it teaching?  Is it coaching?  Is it training?  Whatever it is, I know I will find it and I will be filled with a true sense of purpose and passion.

I am blessed to have been cut back at work to 1/2 time, and blessed that I have a husband supporting me during this time of self-reflection.  I am reading feverishly, journaling like a wild woman, exercising on a regular basis, slowing down to think and comprehend, and taking time to be grateful for the abundance I have been given.  I am on my way!

So enjoy this journey with me, and learn from my successes as well as my failures-there will by many of each.  Let’s have a good time riding this roller-coaster together!

I think a good writer makes the reader see themselves. You have done an awesome job on that level. It may seem pretty typical to you, , but I personally feel everyone can relate to what you’re saying.
You have a way of making me want to read on and enjoy myself while doing so. Keep searching, clustering and enjoy your ride. Where this will take you is not for us to know yet.

    My best.
